This is one of my newest tiger painting and I’m totally fascinated by those animals, their beauty and strength.
The painting is made on a 3D canvas, which gives it and additional effect of depth.
An oil painting usually takes between 30-50 hours or even more, depending on the size. It’s due to many layers of the paint that need to dry in between the painting sessions. The tiger paintings are especially time-insensive because of the fur which is being painted almost “hair by hair”.
